The Mechanics
The process begins with the identification of the most pressing national dilemmas. These are put before a rotating council of experts in recorded roundtables. Their task is to analyze trade-offs, provide context, and frame the questions that require a national decision.
The framed dilemmas are hosted on a secure digital interface accessible to millions. Utilizing advanced statistics and machine learning, AzNo analyzes the collective pulse in real-time, turning raw dialogue into actionable data, and visible consensus.
The Status
We are currently in the foundational phase, and are working on framing the issues, shortlisting participants for the inaugural roundtable, customizing our digital platform, and piloting in-person dialogues to refine our framing and seed insights.
The Future
In the long term, AzNo aims to grow into a sustained platform for national dialogue, bringing together diverse Iranian voices to examine the country’s most pressing political and institutional dilemmas. As the conversations deepen, the project seeks to translate the insights generated through these roundtables into coherent policy thinking and practical proposals that can guide advocacy, inform international actors, and contribute to a more accountable and participatory future for Iran.
